OUR CAPTAIN and HOST, MATT TAMBOR, is one of South Florida’s top fishermen. His enormous talent and knowledge, outgoing personality and notable good looks make him the ideal host for this program. He is young, photogenic, articulate and most importantly passionate about fishing. Known for his spirited demeanor and hard-hitting approach.

MATT TAMBOR is without a doubt one of South Florida’s most prominent captains. He has won many of the top fishing tournaments including 2 consecutive Bahamas Wahoo Championships and the 2004 Yamaha Contender Miami Billfish Tournament, the Super Bowl of Sailfishing.

LUIS BACARDI is a two time World Billfish Series Divisional Champion. Luis and his tournament winning Captain Dave Withers travel around the globe aboard the “Rum Bum” in an endless search for Billfish.

PETER WOLFSON, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER and Florida native has fished and been on the water his entire life.  Peter brings 15 years of television production experience to the team.

SCOTT “SCOOT” SHANE, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER and world traveling fisherman, brings his talents and expertise to the show. He is the Music Supervisor and the Location Coordinator for THE BITE. His fun and energetic personality injects sheer entertainment to each episode.
